Kids & Youth

與孩子的夏季夢幻島

Taiwan Fund for Children and Families(TFCF), is an non-governmental organization that dedicates itself to help children and their families in need. We want to recruit cross-national volunteers for two purposes: one is providing community services for disadvantaged families. The other is planning the summer activities for local children or young people with various disadvantages, to create opportunities for the teenagers and the community people to connect the world, to encourage inter-cultural life experiences exchanges will help the youth appreciate and respect cultural differences. Inspiring TFCF youth volunteers to devote themselves benefit society and increase their experiences in international awareness and participation. We hope through coordination of international volunteers and TFCF volunteers, these children will have wonderful memory of childhood and being included by the world.

家扶基金會是關懷弱勢兒童、少年及家庭的國際型非營利組織，我們希望招募台灣志工到社區進行弱勢兒童與家庭的服務，此外也會與其他國家的國際志工一同在當地社區進行文化交流。若你是一個喜歡小朋友以及想認識外國志工，你一定不能錯過此次計畫，加入我們，讓我們一起創造不平凡的暑假吧！

Renovation of Heritage Town

古厝新貌計畫

  The volunteer work here involves restoring old houses and streets, which is important for residences, as it would encourage a sense of belonging to a community. We hope volunteers who come to the community also help residents rebuild their traditional values, and lay the foundation for future community work and cultural constructions. Every old house tells a different story. You can get first-hand experience on local Taiwanese culture by helping the community renovate old houses and streets. We are looking for passionate volunteers who love the old buildings and historical artifacts, while like the quiet and simple life in country.

 志工的工作內容將會包含重建老舊的房子以及街道。除了實體的重建外，我們也希望志工可以幫助居民找回他們的傳統價值以及對社區的認同感，在當地人的心中畫下社區未來的藍圖。你可以在工作的過程中與在地居民交流，聽聽這些老房子的故事。若你對老屋、傳統文物以及怡然自得的田野生活有憧憬，歡迎富有熱情的你一起加入我們的志工團隊。

Cultural Experience & Community Specialty

體驗道地台灣農漁村生活

  We invite volunteers to come to our community to help preserve our natural heritages, and broaden our horizons on ecological conservation. We hope we can get more people from different cultures to work together in this project, and introduce new ideas into this community industry. Through the involvement of international volunteers, we hope the youth of community feel more interested in participating in community activities. Let them share the features of community to international volunteers. Hope the volunteers can participate in caring for children or the elderly, make them feel the charm of the International Village, and lead the international volunteers give them more hope and future!

 我們邀請各國的志工來到台灣社區參與志工活動，工作內容將包含保護自然財產以及認識生態維護的重要性。希望來自不同國家文化的志工能為社區帶來新的改變，激勵當地的年青人更積極的投入社區活動，與國際志工分享屬於他們社區的色彩。除了自然方面，些許的志工營也有與老人小孩的互動設計，藉由國際志工帶來的新鮮感，讓在地社區與來自地球村的志工互相激盪，也從中獲得更多對未來的希望與夢想。

Cross-generation & Community Development

  Aging population has been rapidly growing in the whole world, and elderly issues become much more important. Hondao Senior Citizen's Welfare Foundation (Hondao) has been promoting "aging in local" in Taiwan for over 20 years. Therefore, senior citizens can live in their familiar surroundings while enjoying the care and support from the community center, and also helped each other to fulfill their dreams.

鑑於人口老化正快速的在全世界蔓延，因此高齡政策日趨重要。弘道老人福利基金會在台灣超過20年來致力於推廣在地老化。志工參與弘道計畫不僅可以有與長者接觸的機會，也能提早體驗變老後的樣子，從與老人一起的諸多活動中完成他們的夢想，收穫許多感動。

社區服務x特色文化體驗

  We also provide some mini workcamps for the international volunteers to join. We hope that the volunteers can breathe the new life into the local community and broaden the new horizons for our kids or the elderly. This year, we will hold the activities such as teaching English to the children, painting the stones around the old community, rebuilding the canal which was destroyed by the earthquake and spend lots time with our wisdom elder people.

In addition, we will still have time for the volunteers to get deeper interaction with Taiwan culture. A hearty and earnest exploration would bring you a wonderful and unforgettable workcamp and experience.

除了二到三週的計畫，我們也提供了短天數的工作營給時間較不充裕但仍然想參與志工活動的人。我們期待志工們在忙碌的生活中能因為工作營補充生活能量，同時也能為社區老人小孩帶來新的視野，而今年的迷你計畫包含了英語教學、彩繪社區與石頭、修復因大地震而崩壞的水圳等等不同的工作內容。然而，志工仍然有許多機會能更深入的瞭解社區，期望台灣國際工作營能為你帶來一個美好又難忘的經驗。
